I bought a new winter hat on Small Cranberry Island in the summer (Mount Desert Island, Maine) and used it today for the first chilly day of the year: autumn has arrived in New York!
I seem to have turned into a pixie.
We took the ferry over to Long Island City, mooched around a ‘flea and food’ market, ate turkey with a side of chilli at a Smokehouse, cycled 4 miles down through Brooklyn’s bike lanes to a modern dance show at the DUMBO 2018 Dance Festival. And remembered that this is Day 365 of our Adventure: exactly one year ago we left Kimpton for Switzerland! Woohoo!!!
